Design Your Future Barcelona 2015
Date du début: 1 août 2015, Date de fin: 31 janv. 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Design Your Future Barcelona 2015 is the second edition of a european exchange between young people who reflect about common social issues and who use design as a tool for finding transformation and social activism. Following the first exchange in Portugal, the second edition will take place in November 2015 in Barcelona in one of the design capitals in Europe that evolves and works expanding the limits within design. Barcelona will take on 35 youngster from different disciplines and different points from Europe: psychologists and social educators from Portugal, journalists from Bosnia and Herzegovina, architects from Finland, anthropologists, ethnologists and sociologists from Poland, and lastly, designers from Barcelona. The activities in the project will be divided into three phases that consist in preparation and joint decision making with the participating organisations, the development of the project and the evaluation of the results, together with the communication follow up. By using design and non formal educational methodologies, group dynamics, debates, simulation games, activities, workshops and cultural visits, the participants will share knowledge, debates and experiences that will allow them to work together to generate solutions for social problems. At the same time, the use of the tools from the Youthpass will allow us to maintain a continued evaluation for debate and to find what social dynamics groups may have in common. The results of this project will be centred on the knowledge and experience acquired by the participants throughout the programme and their final projects. A high impact in different mediums is expected due to the organisations and participants involved who will share and diffuse the results obtained thanks to connections between different participating countries. A long term and constant communication plan is expected to make this project heard at a European level so as to attract and call to attention organisations that may be interested in continuing with more editions in following years, in order to keep on promoting design as a tool for social change within a european frame, strengthening and developing a sense of identity and European citizenship.
