TThe project was about youth participation, in particular about the right to be listened to on the mattersthat concern youngsters and on all issues that have to do with their communities. The main aim isimproving the relationship between young people and local administration (politicians), to gain theirtrust and be involved in the decisions.The promoters want to experiment many new technologies (web 2.0) and encourage the youngparticipants to use them to express their opinions on certain matters: SMS and online consultation.The youngsters will as well be involved in local activities to experiment active forms of participation.The are 4 partners, 2 Italian Youth Councils and 2 Irish Youth Centres, the activities will take place inTortona (North of Italy), Tropea (South of Italy), Dublin (North of Ireland) and Limerick (South ofIreland). Each partner has a coordinating group made up of 10/12 young persons, who will involve inthe activities other youngsters with no limits; hopefully the project will be able to reach hundreds ofyoung persons.The project will last 12 months and includes several activites at local level and two internationalevents. There will be 5 working phases1. The preparation – meetings, training (about web 2.0), workshops about youth participation2. 1st international event – sharing activities and methods of the following phase3. Online consultation, SMS information, workshops about youth participation, local activities4. 2nd international event – sharing activities and methods of the previous phase, results5. Evaluation and Follow UpYouthLe modifiche richieste ed autorizzate dall’Agenzia nazionale hanno riguardato :1) La data di inizio del progetto è slittata dal 1/7/2009 al 15/09/2009 in quanto l’accordo disovvenzione ha completato l’ iter formale l’8 settembre 2009 e di ciò abbiamo formaleautorizzazione dell’ANG2) Il 2° meeting internazionale conclusivo è stato di conseguenza spostato da giugno 2010 adagosto 20103) L’eleggibilità delle spese è stata indicata dall’AGN nel 15/09/2010 in quanto data compatibilecon il meeting di agosto4) I mesi di attività sono quindi 125) Il Comune di Tropea, decision makers e garante finanziario per la Consulta Giovani di Tropeae firmatario della part III non ha potuto cofinanziare nessuna attività in quanto nel frattempo èstato commissariato : sono state pertanto inserite 3 attività direttamente a Tropea da partedella Consulta Giovani di Tortona e i costi sono stati coperti dal cofinanziamento del progetto6) Sono state effettuate in parallelo al progetto attività formative per i giovani di Tortonacomponenti del GLL sugli obiettivi del progetto in modo da accrescere consapevolezzaall’azione in corso di realizzazione : un meeting a Reggio Emilia sulla @democracy,( Fassone – Muratori) 1 meeting a Torino sugli stessi temi, 1 meeting a Firenze sui processipartecipativi “Filigrane” 1 meeting a Bari sui processi di formazione delle politiche per i giovani( Calabrò e Giungato) e un corso di formazione per 1 componente del GLL della durata di 8sabati a Lucca su giovani e pubblica Amministrazione ( Cimo ) Le spese sono state sostenuteinteramente dal Comune di Tortona
