The project ‘Democracy. Democracy. Creativity’ is a new way of approaching issues that focus on youth opportunities regarding active participation into democratic decision making process. With the goals to ensure successful youth participation developments in Latvia and other European countries, the project aims to implement significant methodology changes into development of democratic values that are going to be spread throughout active local, regional, national and international dialogues.The project ‘Democracy. Democracy. Creativity’ lasted for 9 months involving participants from 5 countries (Estonia, Italy Latvia, Rumania and Turkey) and was based on the idea of four angle participation system:* A methodological tool ‘The small book of huge discoveries’ was created on the basis of innovative, youth created methods used to provide creative representation and youth interest advocacy in the governmental level;* International creative workshop ‘Democracy. Democracy. Creativity’ provided a common experience sharing and intercultural dimension while collecting creative youngsters from all over the Europe to gather with a common aim – to interact and construct practical methods for changes to be made all over the Europe spreading equally developed democracy;* Latvian youth NGOs training seminar gathered youth NGOs across Latvia to improve their methods to promote democracy throughout their on-going day-to-day activities. The participants of the seminar gained visual knowledge on creative democracy, as a result, a travelling photo exhibition was created to visit different local governments;* Trainee school 2011 spread active participation, personal development, increased the level of involvement of young people in NGOs and prepared them for the new era of active participation in the building of democracy that is based on youth opportunities and creative thinking.
