It is becoming hard to motivate students without having social activities and just teaching academic studies in school. All students have a right to achieve success except the academic issues. Dealing with different interests like music, sport, art, etc. and by participating in one of these activities ,ensure that students will study more and go to their schools more willingly and it also affects the students' success at classes. The students who are unwilling for coming school or whose absence are gradually rising are more tend to quit their schools. The researches show that the students become more willing for attending their schools which helps to improve their academic successes when the negative attitude is changed about the school education. The program which is processing in our school ‘Total Quality Management’ (TQM) aims to increase the motivation of students in terms of social as well as in academic fields and so it aims to raise intelligent and successful students who are developing themselves with social activities. Project is processing via the volunteer staff who’s willing to develop their branches which are music, visual arts, Turkish, drama, math, information technologies, English and counseling. The purpose of the participators is to have more information about the techniques and methods internationally and improve the studies which are already been taught to students. The target audience of the project ; the students who have problems with concordance,anger,controlling temper,motivation,lack of self confidence and having great amount of absence due to these kinds of problems. The team composed for project; 9 participators. The participators' branches are :1 counselor, 1 Music teacher, 1 visual arts teacher, 1 technology and design teacher, 1 mathematics teacher, 2 Turkish teachers, 1 English teacher, 1 information technologies teacher. The activities to be carried out in the future in the light of the needs analysis and development of the project are: 1. Individual consultation for the people who need it.(Solution oriented in a short time) 2. Applying the anxiety inventory and group work about anxiety 3. The techniques of controlling temper and anger. 4. Family counseling 5. Goal determining practices in short term 6. Orientation studies 7. In academic subjects (Turkish, Mathematics, English) enhancing the learning and teaching methods based on the theory of multiple intelligences. 8. Studies on effective use of ICT in education 9. Introduction of musical instruments varying according to different cultures 10. Themed group art studies 11. Drama workshops to develop self-esteem, anger management, group awareness, tolerance etc. For the project analysis the attitude and behaviour change occuring in the target audience will be taken into consideration.For that purpose an attitude scale will be built up. For developing, preparing and evaluating the attitude scale, it is planned to receive support from Assoc.Prof.Dr.Hakan Atılgan who is a lecturer in Ege University Within the scope of ‘Total Quality Management’ carried out at our school, the contribution of education is important to gain an international extension. It is intended to get information about the studies conducted in schools across Europe and adapting and applying them in our country. So that, the activities will gain meaning internationally and the value of our institution will increase accordingly. It is expected to convert these studies into compulsory education first in our city and than across the country to ensure the sustainability of the project.For that reason we will cooperate with The District Directorate of National Education and the acquired information will be shared with them.
