The project strives for deepening understanding, information and communication of the EU in the EaP by collecting, capitalising and diversifying academic data from a common European perspective. For this reason, 3 EaP ECSAs: ECSA-Moldova (E-Institute), ECSA-Ukraine (UESA) and ECSA-Georgia (EUSA); 2 EU ECSAs: ECSA-Romania (ARRISE) and ECSA-Poland (PECSA); and the University of the Azores united their common efforts in publicizing EU facts in the EaP considering (1) EU neighbourhood policy and (2) the developments at the Eastern border of the EU. New visions and scientific findings on the EU in the EaP will be beneficent both for the EU and EaP countries because of political, geopolitical and socioeconomic changing variables. The project will proceed to organise a cycle of 3 regional conferences, aiming at providing greater visibility of EU facts in the EaP; gather EU experts and academics from all EaP countries to participate with research results and visions at the conferences; publish conference papers; organise annual board meetings on action’s progress; and to disseminate project’s results.The project multinational team will stimulate sustainable communication, information, reflection and understanding of the EU in the EaP; foster new ideas and visions on EU subjects; develop synergistically open resources on EU subjects from an interdisciplinary perspective; contribute to development of better dialogue between EU and EaP academics; diversify information and communication strategies on EU subjects; contribute to stimulating new forms of EU-EaP cooperation; promote EU values in the EaP.The project’s impact will comprise a greater academic and public awareness about EU facts; enhance and extend results and resources in producing new knowledge; improve connectedness in building confidence measures in the EaP; enhance capacity in developing sustainable policies in the EaP; strengthen EU-EaP partnerships; and promote European networking and cross-fertilisation.
