Our project which anticipates six English teachers working in our school to take part in a teacher training course in Ireland is a staff mobility project in the frame of Erasmus+ Key Action 1. Participant staff are formed from the teachers who have been teaching for at least ten years, following the innovative methodologies in English teaching, using ICT in their classroom activities. These teachers are eager to learn new teaching techniques and to create authentic teaching and learning materials. Teaching training activity that the staff will participate in is a course held in Ireland which is called "English and Culture". During the course inquiry-based project methodology will be used and participants will have the opportunity to come together with local people whose native language is English. Thus, participants will both learn the culture and people of host country and learn inquiry-based methodology by implementing it and they will be able to make use of the new methodology in their own teaching activities with the students. The staff who will come together with the teachers from other European countries will have the chance to share best practices and to learn about each other's educational systems, culture, school practice and English teaching methodologies during the structured activities and in their free times. Participants will form wide range of resources with the materials they will create and will share during the training. Mobility project will enhance personal and professional competences of the staff and this will lead to better teaching-learning activities. Authentic cultural materials, new teaching and learning methodologies and aproaches acquired during the training will promote the quality of English teaching in our school. Sharing Knowledge and experiences gained during the training with the colleagues in the school and school society in the school will contribute to the ones who have been shared and has positive effect on the educational activities in the school. Sharing the knowledge and experiences gained during the project with the school society and preparing new European projects by establishing new partnerships with the people who are involved in the training will develop the European dimension of the school. Therefore, it will contribute to strategic development plan of the school.
