This project is brought about after a thorough analysis by our various working groups of our shortcomings and work items within the school curriculum . Plans and ideas for improvement were listed with regard to language policy , methodology , parental activity , ICT policy, Special needs and professional development of the staff.
The school choose to create a strong e-learning environment to support the language deprivation of our school population and to raise their results on the national tests.
There was a shortage of knowledge established by our staff ICT skills which our students at a disadvantage in their thirst for knowledge in this way . This is also the aspiration of the Lifelong Learning Programme of the European Commission. Furthermore, many structural and methodological slopes were still improving shifted forward.
As a result of these findings, our school decided to perform two types of activities :
1 ) Teachers to follow the TACCLE course in Italy . ( ICT)
2 ) Teachers to send on Job Shadowing in one of our partner schools (structure , methods, language policy , special needs , parents participation, ... )
Our teachers were elected on knowledge of foreign languages and the basic of ICT. So our school will send out, within the next two years, six teachers to gather the necessary knowledge for our school .
The whole school will participate , through the staff meeting and working groups , preparing , processing and evaluating this project . The whole school community ( students, parents and teachers ) will be involved in the development of new knowledge .
The results will shared through an eTwinning platform, the school website and a proprietary database of resources and materials , press release , ... . The results will also be made available to external parties through the same channels .
These activities aim to improve the intellectual and social interaction of our students and provide them with new tools (ICT , languages ) to the challenges of the current situation and possible inequalities of certain students with special needs and disadvantaged situations to work them off.
They are also intended to encourage the further professional development of our teachers . To encourage other teachers to participate in a next project.
These steps are fully in line with the retraining policy and the curriculum of our school .
