De Beeldbuis is an online broadcaster for and made by young people in Westervoort.Young people who want to start a new online community in Westervoort under the name De Beeldbuis will carryout the project. At De Beeldbuis young people will work together to fill the website with video's, blogs, photo's,profiles and much more. De Beeldbuis also wants to include young people that would normally stay in thebackground. We want to stimulate and guide them in their creativity and entrepreneurship. By doing this they willmake up and execute subjects for the website themselves.De Beeldbuis can be divided into two fields of activities:The websiteDe Beelbuis can be watched on an internet site. A website for and made by young people with local information,photo's, movies and social media. Twice a month it will show a new episode of 'Westervoort draait door'; a programthat is based on 'De wereld draait door'. Every Friday morning there will be a 'babbelbox' at the local mall (DeWyborgh) where people can give their opinion about different subjects that involve young people. This programwill be called 'De Biechtstoel'. There will also be a program called 'A day in a life' in witch someone fromWestervoort will be followed for a day. Next to programs De Beeldbuis will also bring blogs about music, fashion,politics and sports. The website will also feature information and advice about sexuality, school, work, etc. Thesesubjects will also be featured in our programs.Editorial room/StudioWe will be working in the local youth centre called 'Creon'. We will set up an editorial room and studio there wherewe can come together at least twice a week to have meetings, work on the website, film our programs, edit themand evaluate. We also offer young people a place to develop their skills in the use of media.
