Background of the project:The Hariolf-Gymnasium as a “partnerschool for Europe“ thinks that is absolutely necessary to coordinate already existing international projects better and to get to know new ideas for new projects, so that our pupils are prepared adequately for Europe and the European labour market and to offer them tolerance, open-mindedness and intercultural competences.We’d like to go this way together with all colleagues and to offer as many pupils as possible a gate to Euope.The teachers who are going to participate in the course are supposed to:- be willing to educate themselves abroad- to possess adequate language skills- be open to integrate the European idea into their lessons and into further extra-curricular projects- to be willing to cooperate more with other school projects in the future- Description of the expected results, effects and potential long-term benefits: The seminar experience will boost the motivation for intercultural learning and intercultural cooperation and the work at the Hariolf-Gymnasium with European projects will be more effective..The training will enable teachers to inspire our teaching staff even more for European projects, and to use the project work as a means to expand the students‘ intercultural, language and social skills. By expanding these skills our students will be better prepared in the future for the demands of the European and international labour market and will get to know essential values such as tolerance, open-mindedness and intercultural competence.
