Project "Dare to care" was initiated to empower young people from all over Europe to take an action in the sphere of society life they care for – children at risk, environment, promoting reading culture in society, non-formal, inter-cultural learning. By acting upon the cause they care the most, volunteers will increase their awareness about the phenomena and improve skills necessary to be effectively involved in multi-cultural world: why it is important and how we are able to live life together in multifaceted environment.Volunteers of different countries will provide valuable support to activities in our local community, increase quality of the services and the most important will bring rich inter-cultural experiences in everyday life of the target groups. The project aims to increase key-competences of life-long learning to participants in the project - workers at institutions, volunteers and target groups. 6 local partner organizations and 9 partner organizations from other EU countries are taking part in the project bringing together 11 young people from Italy, Spain, Sweden, France, Austria and Germany to Lithuania for unforgettable intercultural and learning experiences!
