The need of the project "The improvement of staff skills: work with children of risk“ occurred, because the children, who belong to the risk group and who feel a social difference, more and more come to schools recently. Difficult social, economical reasons make influence on the school children's behaviours, value attitudes, thinking, they are less motivated for learning very often, they don't believe in themselves and in the surrounding, they attend classes unwishingly, they usually are just on the hedge of falling out of the system of education, they participate in school's public life unwishingly too, they are inclined to make criminals, they integrate into the labour market more difficult. Schools' workers (theachers, other workers, who are responsible for teaching process' organiztion) are eager to improve their knowledge and skills, so, they could give the schoolchildren an effective psychological-social long-term help. The aim of the project is to improve professional and pedagogical knowledge and skills of the workers, who act in professional teaching sphere actively, for the work with the children, who belong to the risk group and feel a social difference. The numbers of the participants of the project is: 8 teachers, workers, who are responsible for professional teaching process' organization, asocial teacher, the project leaders from PE Daugai Technology and Business School (Daugai TBS), Kėdainiai Professional Education Centre (Kėdainiai PEC) and Veisiejai Technology and Business School (Veisiejai TBS). During the implementation of the project, the participants of' it would go to work observation (address) interships to the entreprices and/or teaching institutions in Portugal and France. During the visits the workers would get acquainted with the experience in the project's field of foreign countries, would learn to analise and to assess individual problematic situations, to use social and psychological methods for students' problems solution. in the project implementation and administration process would participate a project's work group from PE Daugai TBS, Kėdainiai PEC's work group, the project leader from Veisiejai TBS, partnership organizations E.D.P - European Projects Development from Portugal and EURL Aristote from France are appointed as project's coordinators. Planned project's result: Improved professional and pedagogical knowledge and skills of 8 (eight) workers PE Daugai TBS, Kėdainiai PEC and Veisiejai TBS; Prepared recommendations for the work with children, who feel a social difference and belong to the risk group. The experience, which the workers would get during the teaching visit, they would be able to use it in their work, while communicating with the children, giving a help to solve their social, psychological problems, they would spread out their experience among their colleagues, the prepared recommendations could be reached by the workers of others schools. Taking part in such project's activities would guarantee the workers of the schools more qualified and more qualitative work, the role of the schools would increase, solving social, psychological school children's problems, the students would more and more rely on their school an themselves, and in the outcome, their motivation for learning, in public life would increase and they would integrate into the labour market easier.
