The Youth Exchange named: Drop Attitudes , Not Courage : Emancipate ! (DAN;CE) organized by TACCBcn, took place in Sabadell, in collaboration with public facilities of this city during 8 days in September 2014. With a total participation of 44 youngsters of 6 countries of the European Union: Spain, Sweden, Netherlands, Austria, Germany and Italy. The initiative came from a group of youngsters of Sabadell. Two of the participant countries also shared the same need; the goal to eliminate the prejudices that society has against youngsters practicing the discipline of artistic Hip- hop and all its aspects through non-formal education. It was intended to promote transnational mobility, participation and active citizenship, youth empowerment and social inclusion in general through practice and communication of critical and topical issues in their communities and environments. " DA,NC;E " focused on the theme of dance and involvement in society, gender equality work , including art and creativity. The project name is a clear reference to the issue of improving the capacity of young people, and how they are viewed in society. Participants worked in groups on specific themes of gender equality, inclusion and creativity using art, dancing , mixing artistic disciplines and cohesion. The youngsters were assigned different tasks and responsibilities to ensure diversity and the participation of all. The groups used different forms of dance for the final performance. The exchange is promoted through daily videos, pictures and shaping what happened on the blogs and websites of organizations. This was an important part of the visibility and continuity of the project. This Project paid particular attention to the participation of young people with fewer opportunities (families with economical problems, physical or intellectual disabilities , learning disabilities , ethnic minorities and / or social , etc. . ) Suffering discrimination or social exclusion. Young people with a strong motivation in the world of artistic dancing and mixing with other disciplines.
