During European voluntary service project “DABAS VĒTSNESIS” 27 years old, unemployed volunteer from Spain will spend 4 month ( June 1st, 2015 – October 1st, 2015) in Latvia, being volunteer in environmental youth organization “BALTA DABA” with aim to increase the capacity and diversity of organization’s youth work activities and to develop volunteer’s employability in The European labour market. The project is based on non-formal learning process. During the project volunteer will create stories about the diversity of Latvian nature, plan and organize environmental workshops for young people, lead Basque, Spanish culture club activities for local people, will make individual research about environmental problematics in Latvia and other activities. In the end of the project volunteer will present the results of project in schools of Valmiera with aim to raise young people awareness about nature protection issues. After coming back to Spain project partner “ASOCIACION ECOPERIA” will support volunteer to practice skills that were gained during the project.
