We believe that young people who practice as a hobby or study contemporary performing arts have the power and potential to make a positive and meaningful change, both on a personal level as well as in the community at local, national and international level. To realize their undoubted talent they put in a lot of work, which is not always sufficient to develop their creative capabilities, potential and capacity so as to greet themeselves with the desired success, recognition and popularity. To achieve their goals, they must also possess knowledge, skills, behavior and experience in team work, communication, for successful presentation to the audience and to the media, and especially to develop their initiative, entrepreneurial attitudes and activity. With the project "YES-Youth European Start!" we will create conditions for appearance and will reveal new opportunities for young people from 8 countries, through methods and approaches specific to the non-formal education. During the project the young people will present to each other the culture and the traditions of their countries, exchange experience, create useful contacts and friendships, and during the concerts will present themselves in an attractive and effective way to reach with their messages and their talent to the audience, they will take part in discussions, thematic and creative workshops and will learn about Bulgarian culture, contemporary lifestyle and the sights of Sandanski and the region. They will discuss what unites them and what challenges they meet in practicing their favorite arts. As a result they will create and offer practical approaches for successful development and implementation. Together they will create a glossary of typical for their countries words and gestures of consent, blog and online photo exhibition "YES - Youth European Start", with photographs from the project! At the end of the project will present to the audience the results of their creative task which they will prepare and present in mixed multicultural teams. Thus we will provoke and stimulate their tolerance, creativity, innovation, initiative, entrepreneurial attitudes and activities for implementation of common goals and projects, and will contribute to boost their self-esteem, confidence and motivation for successful development and realization, which lead to positive changes at the local, national and international / European level. In the implementation of the project we will provide the opportunity for meeting, communication, acquaintance and collaboration of 48 young people and 8 youth leaders from 8 countries. The exchange lasts 9 days and will take place in Sandanski and the region.
