D’un remède à une re-médiation : observer des stratégies de réussite pour s’approprier de nouvelles pratiques de remédiation
Date du début: 1 sept. 2016, Date de fin: 30 juin 2018 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Like in every European country, Belgian French speaking schools intend to help the pupils for whom they are responsible to be able to make their own learning route by enriching it with multiple experiences that will fill in their bag with knowledge, competences and skills. This path is sometimes full of obstacles that make it unsuccessful. Far from it!Then comes re-mediation. A remedy ? A new mediation based on the pupil's background? This topic will be the core of a consortium that the SeGEC (Secretary General of Catholic Education) wants to implement during two schoolyears with secondary schools, and for two among them their primary section to also focus on the pedagogical continuum. To improve teaching and learning quality we will use "participative pedagogy". SeGEC wants its experts to be accompanied by directors or principals and teachers from their partnerschools to make job shadowing throughout different school systems. This strategy has been made possible thanks to Swedish, Finnish, Austrian and Spannish schoolpartners' cooperation. Some of them will put the stress on "(early) school leaving", or drop out, others on assessment, success instead of year repetition, inclusion, initial and In-service training, VET revalorization or CLIL pedagogy in VET schools. Finally, our consortium will use the observation cards' annotations - previously created by the members - to provide all the schools of our network (and others) with a training/forum/event.
