In the short term (2003-05), bring closer together the library authorities of Kent, of Brighton & Hove, of the départements du Nord, Pas-de-Calais and Somme as well as the library authorities of the towns of Calais, Gravelines and Bray-Dunes. This will allow for the development of a number of new and existing cultural products, a large and long-lasting programme of exchanges of staff, loan material, cultural vehicles, performers and artists, know-how and exhibitions. Through language training sessions, seminars, visits and regular meetings, provide professionals better tools and knowledge to offer the wider public a better service.In the longer term (2005-07), and subject to a review of the 2003-05 programme, in the context of a third Interreg III bid (Phase III), extend this project to the library authorities of the Province of West-Flanders, of Hainaut, of East Sussex, département of Seine-Maritime and library authorities of the town of Boulogne, as well as to the cultural development services of all partners (Culture Mix Phase III).
