Cultural Tourism for Youth: New approaches to the cultural tourism for youth initiatives
Date du début: 1 mars 2016, Date de fin: 31 oct. 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The CulTY project is aiming to promote the cooperation between Europe and Asia in the field of youth and explore the potential of youth work in order to increase the entrepreneurship and employability of the young people in the field of alternative cultural cultural tourism enterprises which represents a great potential . In order to promote this objective, CulTY is going to organise 1 transnational seminar, 2 capacity building training courses and 1 e-learning course in order to train the youth workers from the Partner Countries in the organisation of non- formal and informal learning activities for the development of the skills of young people related to the organisation of alternative tourism activities such as community tourism and alternative itineraries for minor sites. It is expected that 120 youth workers from all the partner countries are going to be involved in the activities of the project both through the participation in the transnational training events and through their participation in the e-learning course that the project is going to develop. The main emphasis is going to be given to the youth workers from the Partner Countries (India and Vietnam). 50 youth workers are going to participate from each of the Partner Countries (30 youth workers through the participation in the transnational training events and 20 youth workers through the participation in the e-learning course). These youth workers are then going to implement practically the knowledge obtained through their participation in training events with young people where they are going to replicate and practically implement the knowledge acquired. It is expected that at least 300 young people are going to benefit indirectly from the activities of the project through the youth workers. The project, in order to achieve its objectives, is going to involve also significant multipliers and stakeholders from the field. The consortium of the project is multi-actor, it has a great experience in the field and it has complementary competencies. It is constituted from 5 partners from 4 countries (Italy, Greece, Vietnam and India). The partners from the Partner Countries (India and Vietnam) are sustainable development organisations that are willing to build their capacity to support youth exchanges and also to support the youth in their local community. The European partners include organisations experts in entrepreneurial related training, experts in e-learning courses and experts in the field of alternative cultural tourism. The transnational seminar is going to be organised in Italy and the two capacity building training courses are going to be organised in Vietnam and India. The last training course in India is going to be combined with a final conference. The organisation of an e-learning course will increase significantly both the time that a youth worker could dedicate in the training course and the number of people that will be able to attend the course.
