The youth exchange "Cultural Renaissance Project" will bring together young people from various European and CIS countries to explore traditional cultures and folklore in their countries. Cultural traditions are at the heart of our cultural identities and it is important to understand their roots. During this youth exchange, young people from France, Poland, Estonia, Belarus, Azerbaijan and Russia will be able to discover and compare their cultural traditions. The 7-day programme of the youth exchange will consist of various practical and active workshops devoted to dances, traditional costumes and fashion, traditional music instruments, Christmas and Easter traditions or traditional national food. Participants will also discuss about protection of cultural heritage and the UNESCO initiatives. Practical workshops will be complemented by debriefing, discussions and other reflective sessions. Participants will be able to propose their own ideas and little workshops. Young people will create together also a "European Cultural Book" that will contain the results of the youth exchange. A short video will also be created and disseminated.
