The goal of "Cultural Capital" EVS is to develop the international and inter cultural understanding of the children and the youngsters in "Meghvik" (little honeybee) , "Social Childcare center" in Gyumri, "Social Childcare Center of Ajapnyak administrative district of Yerevan city" SNCO and in FYCA , Yerevan, Armenia and by hosting international volunteers we will establish an exchange of knowledge, will let children and young people know and participate in cultural-educational activities. 10 volunteers from foreign countries could be an excellent opportunity for our local communities, mainly for the youngsters to overcome language and cultural difficulties and to learn from each other. Moreover this project gives great opportunities for cooperation with the staff and members of host places and will be benefit for our local volunteers, because by working together with someone who comes from a foreign country, they will learn the values of tolerance, equality and acceptance.Also, we would like to give children and youth the way of inter cultural thinking from early ages when they can adopt new things easier that they can cooperate and communicate with people from other countries by overcoming language difficulties and cultural differences. In this way we can fight against racism, xenophobia and discrimination. From the other hand EVS volunteers will benefit from the project. They will be actively involved in local cultural and educational activities in hosting places, they will have an opportunity to develop own project ideas, their intercultural competencies. These can be a good cultural capital for both of them - Local communities in Armenia and EVS volunteers.
