The goal of the Project was to open our High School to the knowledge of other cultures and other environments using the English language as a common base, to motivate the students to use this language and to be interested in other cultures and their own environment through both playful and academic activities. Eight teachers have been involved in this project (six from the English department, one from geography and history and one from natural science and drawing, as well as, at least, one hundred eighty students of the centre. The activities carried out have included the making of posters and brochures about the Natural Park, the presentation in power points by the students of these activities, the making of subtitled videos and the making of a web page in English to make public our natural environment and some of the activities you can make in it. The result has been quite positive because of the high degree of involvement of the students in the activities we offer to them and shape a base from which we could start in a future joint projects with other schools in a KA2 program.
