CrossCulturART - East and West for cultural integration
Date du début: 1 août 2014, Date de fin: 31 juil. 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

CrossCulturArt is a multi-action project designed to strengthen and reinforce youth workers in reaching for art and culture. On the other hand, CrossCulturART wants to give art workers as insight to Erasmus+ Youth possibilities. From the very beginning the project was based on mutual admiration of the partners, and after long consultation we got to a project shape, that will let all the participants develop best. The most expected outcomes of the project are: expanding fields of action of participating organizations, building a community working together on future projects, exchanging ideas and good practices, finding new solutions for participant and their NGOs, involving local culture institutions into cooperating and spreading the effects possibly widest. To achieve those goals, we worked on a three-staged formula. We will start with a Contact Making Seminar in Belgrade, which will give us a strong background for further work. Then one Polish participant goes for three weeks to Fund B92/REX for a Job Shadowing, where she learns about running an independent culture centre and get to know local NGO and art scene. The last point is a Short Study Visit in Cracow. There using previous experiences all invited participants explore the most interesting places and initiatives in Cracow art and culture. After completing the main activities we will ask our participants to organize workshops in their hometowns for their colleagues and other interested groups. We also encourage participants to keep on working together and establish long-term relationships. As long as we are acquaintances with the participants, we will also monitor their further actions. CMS in Belgrade is planned for 8 participants, then one Polish participant goes for Job Shadowing, and finally 12 participants will come for SSV in Cracow. Furthermore, we expect big attendance on the after-project workshops. After we evaluate CrossCulturArt, we will encourage our partners to keep on cooperating.
