Cross-border work flow promotion (Work Flow)

The overall aim of the project is to increase labour mobility in the Croatian-Hungarian border region by enabling businesses to recognize the importance and benefits of labour mobility and serving as an opportunity to entrepreneurs to expand their business to foreign markets through introducing new technologies of communication (eg VOIP), including the introduction of a new language and culture.In the frame of the project 560 hours of video online education of Croatian, Hungarian and English and a presentation of the possibilities of expansion to foreign markets through the employment of foreigners, promotion of new communication technologies will be developed, and a website will be created containing: received and posted supplies and demands for employment, information about working conditions in each country (legal questions, tax, foreign language knowledge, labour cost, availability, productivity) and an online forum where entrepreneurs and workers can share their experiences, express their problems. Achievements: The main strength of any community lies in its work force - this was the creed that lead the project partners towards creating a support system for job seekers in the area. With the long-term goal of creating a stronger, more effi cient and productive border region, the partners elaborated a set of tools for easier employability in the border communities, with special emphasis put on the promotion of mobility: A web portal was set up, containing relevant information on fi nding work in the two neighbouring countries, including an online language course and information for employers seeking to expand their businesses across the border.
