TERMINÉ
The objective of the project is to develop long term solutions to the environmental problems faced by border area s by improving the solid municipal waste management systems. Achievements: Environmental improvement in Falesti district (Md) and Iasi County (Ro) and neighboring region; new collection platforms; increased volume of recycled waste through separate collection of PET bottles, glass, paper and waste separation line; reduction of volumes of solid municipal waste, eliminated through storage, including biodegradable waste; improvement of technical capacities of the existing landfills in Falesti town (Md) and Targu Frumos (Ro) through the installation of a waste separation line;
