CRITICAL - Common Resources for Interactive Training of Intensive Care staff at All Levels
The project involves 2 main ideas: 1) a broad vision - an open source approach to creating interactive educational materials 2) a specific example of that vision - implementation of an open source software virtual patient as a free teaching resource. Teachers will use the developed software for teaching and tutorials, while students will be able to perform diagnostic exercises. At the end of the project the software virtual intensive care patient will be made freely available through Internet with an open source license.
