Date du début: 1 juin 2015, Date de fin: 31 mai 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The main activity of our project will centre around the attendance of a structured course entitled : Creativity in Teaching and Learning using ICT: The Digital Classroom. Our School, Linopetra Gymnasium is a public, lower-secondary education school. Our aim is Linopetra High school to be an innovative institution with emphasis in science and general in sustainable development. Teachers are using technology—for administration, personal productivity, and displaying content (via projectors and document cameras)—but not so much as a student learning tool. The teacher's primary role is to help students understand particular subject matter. Everything else is secondary. Therefore, the focus of any computer-related professional development should not be on the technology itself, but on how computers can improve performance in these core areas of the teacher's "job." The Participant in this project is a teacher who is interested in using more education based on educational technology programmes but who lack the skills to best exploit it in his lesson planning and in the classroom and in the management of schools. He require training in: - Innovative skills using ICT in the classroom - Creating learning experiences based on project work, fitting for students, - improving techniques through share of best practice - Planning and managing collaborative teaching and learning experiences - The Digital Classroom: New methodologies under web 2.0 era. - Finding new ways to motivate students. After the training, our school will be expected to: - Be able to enhance the European dimension and best exploit the potential of internationalisation in the teaching and learning through collaborative work. - Be able to further exploit the potential of educational technology programmes in the teaching and learning process. The students will be encouraged to use the technology programmes as appropriate ie to participate/create... The participant will improve his digital and technological skills and familiarize himself on educational technology programmes, the use of e-learning tools and Online resources. Also as a result he will improve his teaching methods and best practices in STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics). It is anticipated that the participant as a result of the experiences gained, will be able to create learning activities into an integrated environment and e-twinning which will help the sharing and re-use of effective lessons in schools. It will also help teachers to implement and share pedagogical ideas and tools for exploration, presentation and collaboration. The participating teacher will present course results to school staff and school management team . Also he will assist the school management team in providing short training sessions based on his learning. This will allow him to not only disseminate the knowledge and skills he has acquired, but it will also formalise and strengthen participant learning. The project will help our teachers realize the potential of innovative methodology using technologies in everyday classroom practice by investigating the added value of a collaborative, project-based approach. This project is intended for anyone with a desire to increase their proficiency in using a practical methodology which brings technology into the classroom.
