The aim of participating in this project is to encourage our teachers to gain further knowledge in technology, learn and adopt new teaching methods ,become good managers and provide students with the key competence and skills, to explore their potential and capabilities in reaching success in their academic lives, in all sectors of education and later on in their professional careers. The introduction of innovation as part of quality development is always a challenge within our Institution. Therefore, it is the policy of the school to raise students΄ learning outcomes and introduce up to date methods of teaching in our Classrooms. New and stimulating teaching methods will be achieved by acquiring ICT skills which will enable teachers to prepare better lessons. Since ICT is used widely in schools throughout the European Union, sharing and gaining knowledge from the EU teachers learning communities is significant to the staff and management of our school. The experiences acquired by the staff that will participate will help for the promotion of school cooperation with other schools as well as with entrepreneurs and the world of work. They will also support creativity and innovation and promote ICT skills and knowledge to students and staff.This will also help to develop the social skills of building and maintaining positive relations between staff and students and will help them make practical decisions and carry out all tasks on time. Collaborative ICT skills also lead teachers to acquire skills for planning and managing lessons plans and teaching tools. This will also address the issue of school failure and loss of motivation as the students will be introduced to more modern ways of learning. The participants will be three teachers which are coordinators in programmes such as ERASMUS+ ,Environmental programmes or responsible for school competitions like debate in language or school theatre productions. The three teachers will:- organize or get involved in school competitions - organize school theatre productions-organize debating competitions in schools for several years -co - ordinate the "Junior Achievement" European programme for young entrepreneurs It has to be mentioned that all the participants have to be fluent in English because all courses are in English.The teachers will work on their tailor made plans that fit their vision and give constructive feed back. Coaching and facilitation will help them to select the right focus , involve stakeholders, practice methods for structuring an open - ended process and become confident to face challenges , create clarity and set the framework that will lead to organizations goals. Teachers will learn how to plan and conduct participatory evaluation processes that will ensure widespread learning, and how to balance it with accountability. Once the courses are conducted and staff has been educated, implementation will follow as well as dissemination results. The teachers that gained knowledge in the course will give feed back to the rest of the staff.This will encourage the learning of modern foreign languages and support the development of innovative ICT- based content, services, pedagogics and practice for lifelong learning. It will support improvements in pedagogical approaches and school management .
