At the Official Language School Xauen of Jaén we think that training is essential to increase the quality of our teaching process. Therefore, the school has been immersed, for more than three years, in an educational project whose main theme is creativity, and to which we have devoted our time and effort. In addition to this, a working group on creativity and new technologies has been created recently, which was favorably received by the school staff. For this reason, we have applied for this project, which will help us in our research and teaching task. The number of participants is 9 teachers, all of them are part of the school staff and are language or translation graduates of the language they teach and with an extensive experience in education. All activities are focused on a common topic which deals with creativity and are taught in the language concerned, so that each activity also involves the development of the linguistic competence, which, is essential for non-native teachers. Besides the results in educational and linguistic matters, a development of the digital competence is also expected through the use of new technologies with the aim of promoting self-learning among our students. The development of these tools will allow our students to learn in an autonomous way throughout their lives. Another important objective is to continue in our quest to seek new methodological approaches to improve the quality of our teaching practice and the impact on the training of our students, at whom the project is mainly aimed. Therefore, with this project, we try to benefit both teachers and students and improve the teaching-learning process in which the entire educational community is involved. We will also benefit future students to be trained in our school, since this project will help the teachers involved to continue their research and training. Furthermore, this project will also allow us to get to know other European educational institutions with the exchange of ideas and experiences of teachers from other European countries and also partnerships that will further enrich our teaching practice.
