TERMINÉ
The main aim of the project is for partners from Latvian University of Agriculture and Siauliai University to communicate and search for synthesis between environment and art. Several seminars, training courses and exchange visits will take place in scope of the project. These activities will maintain and extend the ties between universities and rural communities. The project activities will be implemented in several locations in Lithuania (Siauliai and Sniuraiciai village) and Latvia (Jelgava, Auce village). Seminars and training will be related to use of natural resources. Workshops will be based on pagan and Baltic symbols. Project will end with an exhibition of art pieces created during the project. Exhibition will include “live” plant sculptures placed in various locations in Lithuania and Latvia. Project will also provide target groups new knowledge and skills. It is also planned to film and collect material about the process of creation and growing of “live” sculptures that make environment more attractive.
