„creACTIVE minds” EVS project will take place in Cracow, the capital of Lesser Poland, the city of culture, innovation and art. Project will be realized as an answer to the needs of everchanging world and evolving cultures, in order to enable young people to become full scale European citizens – socially conscious and active units that will be able to find one's place in the international environment. Project will last 18 months and volunteer's activities will be 10 months long. Project aims at hosting 4 volunteers from Germany, Greece, Belarus and Serbia. We identified seven partners in the „creACTIVE minds” project, as follows: 4 sending partner organisations and three local organisations, Krakowska Fabryka Talentów Association, Niep. Młodzieżowy Dom Kultury KFT and Internationaler Bund Polska which will coordinate the project and host one volunteer for the fist time at its Cracow's headquarters. Two volunteers involved in the project will wokr at Krakowska Fabryka Talentów Association. Projects handled by association aim at equalizing access to education and culture towards chirdren and youth of various social backgrounds. Volunteers will assist educators and tutors during workshops and other activities, coorganize events and self-prepared workshops for youngsters. Activities undertaken at KFT aim to foster creativity and development of young people, so that volunteers' presence will broaden the horizons of participants, and will allow volunteers themselves to try themselves as youthworkers. Next volunteer will realize her project at Niepubliczny Młodzieżowy Dom Kultury KFT. Culture centre of KFT organizes artistic, sport, educational workshops aimed at youth and children aged 3-18. Volunteer will assist educators, tutors during the activities addressed at young people visiting the Centre. Volunteer will be encourage to propose her own activities based on one's interests and talents. Volunteer working at IB Polska will assist european project team. Volunteer will help to organize workshops, cultural and integrational meetings and will support the organisation in promotion of the activities undertaken by the EVS volunteers. Volunteer will also assist and with time co-lead the EVS promotional events and workshops aimed at youth. Volunteer will be encourage to prepare one's own project (f.e. youth exchange) in which all the project partners will be involved. Due to the pioneer character of the project, volunteer will receive extra-support from the IB Polska team. Volunteers participating in the „creACTIVE minds” project will prepare the „map of the creative volunteer” and will organise „volunteer tour” for the young people interested in EVS projects, local NGO and public bodies representatives, potentially interested in hosting volunteers. Volunteers will also organise International Volunteers Day. Thanks to the participation in the project, volunteers will gain multiple personal, social and proffesional skills .Activities at hosting organisations will be adjusted to the volunteers' profiles and interests in order to foster highest satisfaction of the learning outcomes. Project has been prepared in a way that volunteers will gain their competences in a non-formal way, developing their basic skills and imcreasing self- and social-responsibility for their activities. Volunteers during their activities will receive tutors support throughout the project and their work will not replace paid staff. „creACTIVE minds” volunteers will receive logistic and personal support, mentor's support and will be enrolled to the Polish language course.
