Cradle to Cradle Islands (C2CI)
Date du début: 31 déc. 2008, Date de fin: 30 déc. 2012 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The project will focus on the development of new and sustainable energy-related technologies and strategies in islands around the North Sea Region. C2CI will develop and implement the cradle-to-cradle (C2C) methodology for NSR islands, i.e. designing intelligent products and materials that can be used over and over again and thus replace the concept of waste. Three development clusters that focus on sustainable energy in relation to mobility, water and materials will create relevant networks and deliver sustainable innovations for the islands’ environments. Incubator centres on the partner islands will foster further development and implementation. The outcomes will be transferable to the North Sea Region as a whole and beyond.
