CPDLab
Date du début: 1 oct. 2011,

Based on an existing needs’ analysis and continuing professional development (CPD) requirements highlighted by the 30 MoE working with EUN, the CPDLab project will design, develop and test three modular in-service courses for teachers, head teachers, teacher educators, ICT advisers and other relevant stakeholders. The three selected course topics have been identified as priority areas where current CPD provision is deficient at both national and European level. The courses will provide teachers and school leaders with the competences they will increasing need in the future classroom and will support:1. Innovative pedagogical use of Interactive Whiteboard technology in secondary schools.2. Improved safety policies in secondary schools, addressing issues such as cyber bullying, use of social networks, responsible use of mobile and Internet technologies etc.3. Implementation and dissemination of innovative teaching and learning activities for the future classroom. At the end of the project, the aim is to deliver each five-day course within a new Future Classroom Lab, a fully equipped, reconfigurable learning space that is being implemented in the EUN Office in 2011 with support from major ICT vendors. Each course will be codeveloped with a small focus group of advanced teachers drawn from four countries and will also be validated with a second focus group of teachers who are more representative of the sorts of teachers who will benefit from CPDLab courses. Feedback on the course development and testing will also be obtained from a wider group of stakeholders that are unfunded Associate Partners and who participate in a Pedagogical Advisory Board.Courses will be registered in the Comenius in-service training database and will be actively promoted via Comenius National Agencies, the eTwinning initiative, the national portals of 30 MoE and as a key service offering of the new EUN Future Classroom Lab.
