The main topic of the youthexchange "Countries 3:1 Goal" is the intercultural exchange between youngsters from Georgia, Germany and Austria. It's name is supposed to illustrate that the participants have one common goal. This goal is, to be part of the Social Soccer Cup, an international soccer event for youth organisations hosted in Gratwein. It will be reached through the youngsters working together in a team. Through encouraging the participants to international cooperation, the youngsters will lead them to overcome prejudices and broaden their minds. Within the project there will be 24 participants aged 15 to 18 years with different social and economic backgrounds. The youthexchange will take place in June 2015 in Gratwein, Austria and it will focus on sportive activities and creative workshops. Furthermore the project should enable young people from different nations to gather and get to know each other. Through this approach the youngsters will be motivated in different ways to become active and take part in a social dialogue. They will experience that things like language, culture or personal background is not a barrier for successful teamwork, but can be used as a chance through it's diversity. These experiences will make the participants put prejudices aside and become curious for the unknown parts of a different culture. A teambuilding-workshop helps the young people to find a way of communication, get to know each other and become active together. To support the international dialogue, there will be cultural evenings, which will be planned out by the participants themselves. In that way impressions from different countries and cultures can be gained by the youngsters. There will also be a town game in Graz and various sportive and creative activities which should lead the paricipants to become multiplicators of the common european thought throught getting active together.
