Coop'play
Date du début: 14 sept. 2016, Date de fin: 13 sept. 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

"Alone, one goes fast, together we go further » This sentence could summarize the spirit of Coop'Play, a Training Course that will bring together 24 European youth workers from 14 to 23 September 2016 in Laguépie, a village located in the rural area of Rouergue in Midi-Pyrenees.Since 2002, Citrus organisation has been promoting intercultural exchanges and voluntary commitment at international level in order to contribute to concrete construction of peace in the world. It has hosted and accompanied more than 1,000 young people within short and long term volunteer projects.Coop'Play, a 10 days training course for youth workers (employees or volunteers, short or long term), was born from a shared reflexion about which tools could be implemanted by youth workers in order to help a volunteer in making the most of his experience? The issue will be tackled through two large transversal approaches. The first one will focus on reflection and actuation around group dynamics, participation and animation seen through the prism of cooperation. The other will be built around self-awareness as a lever for the emergence of active citizenship by proposing a playful journey of introspection through body and voice. The balance between participatory methods of reflection and workshops including playful parts will ensure the pleasure of learning within the group.Coop'Play will highlight the crucial place of an individual inside a group as well as the power that a group can bring to him-her. It considers that these two forces can feed each other. Thus, it will pay great attention to team-building and the participants well being. Through this vision, enhanced by intercultural learning and ideas of its participants, the training will be a place for experimentation of "living together" and "doing together."At the end of the process, participants will have experienced and acquired tools and knowledges, that they will be able to apply once back in their mission. We hope that participants will acquire more pleasure in their work, diffuse this cooperative and benevolant spirit to their target groups and invite each young person enrolled in a volunteer project to get fully involved. Tools and vision shared during Coop'Play will help young people in developing their capacity to become the main actors in their life and to take group integration as a lever for their personal developments and projects.
