An Erasmus+ İndividual Mobility Action project called as "Contribution to Art" has been defined by Global Development Association. GloboDev is a young non-governmental organisation settled in Ankara, Turkey. The main target of GloboDev is to organise activities supporting prosperity growth by providing a competitive environment. GloboDev is a partner of a Grundtvig LP project "BASE, Bridging Arts by Arts for Seniors" with organisation from Poland, Spain and Lithuania.
In the project, European mobity is considered as "leaning mobility" so that; the main objective of the project is to contribute the establishment of a dynamic knowledge society. It is expected that the teachers will increase the level of their competences. In fact, most important achievement is the intercultural competence. The other one is the possibility of having a document accepted European wide such as Europass certificate.
The organisational competences to acquire and the visibility of the participating teachers may provide mutual longer-period mobility opportunities between partners in medium term. Therefore the learners will benefit from the future courses by hosting European teachers. The knowledge level of all the beneficiaries like management, members, learners and teachers will be increased to support our global competitiveness in long term. The most valuable guide in this context is the EU lifelong learning basic competences. Particularly, we emphasize the competence "creativity and entrepreneurship" and "learning to learn" and lead our teachers on that. Besides, "cultural awareness", "social" and "communication in foreign language" are the other competences which fit our objectives. Therefore, we have planned that our teachers to participate in courses facilitating these 5 competences.
The proposal is to have 15 administative and teaching personnel to take part in the project. The selection criteria are the foreign language level of learners and active participation in association activities.
As preparation activity, an action plan has been designed. In the period of July-August 2015, a meeting will be organised for teachers to provide information about adult education, Erasmus+ and grant use; and, the final mobility dates will be set with the course providing partners. Within the process, an information document will be produced including practical information about visa, accomodation, meals, travel, course venue map and transportation.
After the number of teachers and dates for each course has been defined, an agreement will be signed with the partners. As a result of our preliminary search, the courses organised in Spain, Denmark and Holland are appropriate for our objectives. In addition, a gentlemen's agreement will be signed with the teachers.
The main activities of the project are the information meetings for teachers, planning with course providing partners, advising teachers for mobility, monitoring during the activity, teacher's reporting after the course, Europass certificate application planning, activity assessment via questionnaire, preparation of project portfolio, course assessment with providers and dissemination.
The institutional impacts of project are considered as increased interest to take part in international activities, increased intercultural awareness, development of new materials and methods, introduction of new management strategies, ideas and practices, increased of interest in foreign language; the personal impact as interest in other cultures, openness to EU, motivation on learning, establishment of contacts with foreign people, intercultural and social competence, increased knowledge and foreign language.
Dissemination plan has been designed for internal and external purpose and generally consist of discussions, information meetings, presentations, reports, newsletter, e-communication and website.
At the end of the project, course assessment report and general project assessment report will be produced. For this purpose, a methodology and assessment questionnaires have been designed which may also be used in future activities.
