Continuity of Traditional Enterprises in Mountain Alpine Space areas (C-TEMAlp)

Description (EN): Demographic change and rising of ageing index in AS areas could endanger the capability of territories to keep their attractiveness because of the risk that companies are not right transferred and maintained alive. Business transfer is thus seen not only as a critical phase but as a way to strengthen the innovation potential of established SMEs and as an opportunity for business renewal in the area. This is why C-TEMAlp goals are twofold: improving SMEs innovation, diversification and attractiveness through dedicated support services and testing innovative pilots of transnational business transfer. C-TEMAlp is based on capitalized experiences and strong innovation competences, that will ensure the sustainability afterward. Nonetheless, for the first time a multigovernance network will be set up in order to strengthen at local level the bond between the innovation system actors and to develop new marketing and investment services as well as to provide joint tools and harmonised mentoring services at transnational level. A common exchange e-platform will be launched to match potential buyers/sellers at transnational level. C-TEMAlp will contribute also to support EU harmonisation process of the regulatory framework for business transfer and the partners, representing all the ASP involved countries, will match their competences and their active role in EUSALP to build a sustainable transnational network for the benefit of the AS area. Expected Results (EN): Level of maturity of framework conditions for innovation for generating innovation processes among business, academia and administration Expected Outputs (EN): Business innovation: SMEs competitiveness increased through innovative services, business transfer opportunities at AS level enhanced, better innovative environment built and tested;Policy improvement: policy makers involved and harmonised framework for business transfers proposed at EU level. The results will contribute to the programme result indicator aiming at supporting cooperation processes at 4 levels: business, innovation centres, administrations, end users (quadruple helix approach).
