Our institution "CIFP Hostelería y Turismo de Cartagena." promotes the current project addressed to members of the staff and students of: "Gastronomy and Cooking", "Pastry and Bakery" and "Restaurant Service" intermediate vocational studies
Our students would do their formal training period abroad in host companies in the following countries: France , England , Italy, and Belgium.
We have an updated quality agreemen in the case of France, as well as 10 years colaboration experience under the framework of the Leonardo Da Vinci program and Erasmus PAP, where various of our students carried out a highly-professional training period and were always given a warm welcome.
According to our philosophy of center (based on professional excellence) both teachers and students assume the current project in terms of: team work, continous teaching-learner process improvement, and optimization of human-resources to achieve professional excellence framed within our quality system.
Explicitly the proyect is led by the Erasmus+ coordinator program and the department of Relation with companies coordinates the work of FCT tutors involved.
Our proyect seeks to meet the needs of our student achieving the following objectives :
1- To be an active part in the creation of the European society based on research, professional development and innovation.
2- To use European funding sources to facilitate access to mobilitiy exchange between Europeans, and cooperate between the various social agents that are part of our production system , putting at our disposal other means of acquiring knowledge both in the field of education and in business .
3- To improve our students competences in foreing languages, and enrich their European curriculum which is a need for the development of their profession in the sector.
4- To contribute to a multicultural European society based on equal opportunities for everybody and avoiding any discrimination matters
5- To encourage the exchange of professional achievements, its content and innovations within our sector and the need of our institution to be immersed in the continuing education and training of the studients-workers throughout their working life . ICT will be used to control the whole training procedures in the host companies.
6- The student becomes our embassador to get synergies between the educational system and the professional sector, being in favour of future transnational cooperative progects.
7- To import the acquired knowledge in favour of the teaching -learning process both in schools and companies.
The stages of this proyect are: promotion and dissemination of placements, selection of participants,cultural, linguistic and logistic support, monitoring and assesment, recognition of placements and praparation of final reports to SEPIE.
This proyect management is ensured by the involvement of members and institutional bodies , which add value because their forces come together thanks to the experience accumulated over 10 years.
Mobilities will be held in host companies in France , England, Italy and Belgium. The number of participating students will be 3 and personal one .
Mobilities will flow between the months of April and June or September to December, in a 24-month project .
This project will shorten distances in the European integration process and facilitate the employment of young professionals , giving them a solid linguistic and multicultural training to help them acquire higher qualifications and training level .
'Contigo Aprendo +' project wil have a very positive impact in terms of : opportunities for employment in the European labour market, improvement of lingüistic competences in foreign languages, the enlargement of the students cultural knowledge and the exchange of professional experiences to develop the idea of entrepreuners and self employment within the European socioprofessional framework.
