In appreciation of the growing number of commuters across the border and the dynamic of the economic and social integration it seems to be important to establish a twin position in Stettin, in order to offer support for social and economic issues in an integrated form to the citizens on both sides of the border. These commuters across the border have to deal with the social legislation and tax laws of two countries. Both locations are to support the social and occupational cross-border integration of German and Polish citizens within the Euroregion POMERANIA. Achievements: Stand: 07.08.2014Die Aufgabe der Kontakt- und Beratungsstelle war es, den Integrationsprozesses polnischer und deutscher Bürgerinnen und Bürger zu begleiten und Kontakte zu den jeweiligen Behörden und Ämtern in Deutschland und Polen herzustellen. In Anbetracht der wachsenden Zahl der Grenzgänger und der Dynamik der wirtschaftlichen und gesellschaftlichen Integration wurde im Mai 2011 eine Zwillingsstelle in Stettin eingerichtet, um den Bewohnern auf beiden Seiten der Grenze in integrierter Form Unterstützung in sozialen und wirtschaftlichen Belangen zu geben.Seit Projektbeginn im April 2011 wurden 15.307 Anfragen in den Kontaktstellen in Löcknitz und Stettin bearbeitet, davon 2.523 Anfragen in Stettin.Das Projekt wurde abgeschlossen.
