Construire son avenir en Europe en 2014/2015

The project of our professional high school consists of the professional organization of training courses in Europe for our pupils of vocational high school diploma. The reference table of the Vocational high school diploma imposes 8 weeks of internship during the final year of high school. We suggest to our voluntary pupils making 4 weeks in another European country. We chose 2 destinations according to the languages taught in the establishment: Ireland (city of Dublin) and Spain (city of Tarazona). The trainees are chosen within 3 trainings produced at the high school: Vocational high school diploma Business, vocational high school diploma Management-administration, vocational high school diploma ASSP ( Assistant Care and Support to the Person). Our objective, through this proposal of European internship, is to put the trainees in situation of vocational training according to the strict constraints of the official reference table of their training.The objectives of training are thus negotiated with host companies. Are added objectives of linguistic deepening and personal fulfillment through the discovery of a new culture and different lifestyles, without neglecting a positive impact waited on the development of the autonomy for a public of young persons (16 - 17 years). The trainees are estimated by their professors on their place of internship according to the criteria and current modalities within the framework of the training. The previous mobilities have confirmed the adequacy between the expected results and the obtained results, in particular in the field of the linguistic improvement. If the total immersion in a language does not end in a complete control of the foreign language, it places the pupil in an important dynamics of acquisition which is confirmed from the following start of the school year by the professors of language of the high school. From the point of view of the professional experiences, it is indisputable that the language barrier is a brake at the beginning of the internship for the implementation of the professional tasks, a brake often compensated with the extreme attention which the guardians carry to their trainees. We notice besides that this brake quickly dissipates during the internship. The differences of procedures which the trainee notices on the ground between what was taught him(her) and which is practised in the company are a factor of distance which develops at his home a better prospect.We expect through this experience to open considerably the horizon of our pupils as regards the conduct of their future life, in particular in the field of the job search. The certification europass mobility is awarded to our trainees.
