This project is proposed as an additional element in an ambitious plan, designed by our School, for internationalization and transnational cooperation into the framework of Erasmus + program. The project is designed for young students from our school from 17 to 25 years old, which after high school, are studying their Vocational Training Medium Grades on Vocational fields: " Electrical and Electronics " and " Building and Civil Works ", as well as students from our Cualification Program . The project seeks that students come into contact with new techniques and technologies on vocational areas they are studying, very different from what they can find in the Canary Islands, where the industrial sector is rather limited. The main objective of the project is that students check and assume the reality of the European Working Market to which they belong, and they are able to remove limitations and open horizons at cultural, social and professional level. That is difficult task for these students, taking into account they have an additional limitation, living on an island and far way from Europe. The chosen way is immersion in the host country: Italy. Students will join the Italian city Ascoli Piceno for 9 weeks, (3 weeks in case of Cualification Program) for working in the profession for companies which they have been trained at school, and making fully autonomous life to help/force them to develop by themselves in a country with a different language and culture of their own. We take into account, of course, the need of a preliminary stage for preparation of participants and a careful selection of the themselves, to ensure the success of this experience and the whole project. As a result of this experience , these young people should broaden their technical and professional competence in their field of work and more, beyond the area of the island where they live, or their country. For the development of the mobile phase , we have several companies (host partners) in which our students will develop their period of traineeships. About these partners, we remark absolute willingness to adapt to the proposed training program for each participant, and the success of our experience in previous mobility projects with them. On the other hand, our intermediary partner CO.EUR is specialized in the implementation of such projects and the organization of student mobilities. All them, host and intermediary partners, have understood our project idea and they have collaborated in organizing all kinds of details to ensure the success of mobility and project, it will take place during NINE weeks in the second quarter of 2015. The planned start of the mobility phase of the project date is April 3, 2014, Ma 18th, for Cualification Program students, coinciding with the development of professional module of traineeships at school. It is just one of the main objectives of this project, work activity that participants made during their stay in Italy, equates as required traineeships to students at the end of their studies, before graduation. Through this project, we invite our students ( young technicians in Electrical and Telecommunications installations, and Construction and Reforms ) to join the European reality , to open their minds and integrate into a different society, to know how to work beyond their island and their country , to apply in companies with different methods and technologies than they studied in classes and workshops, to be restless entrepreneurs and innovators , to trust their own abilities and possibilities. We invite them to BUILD EUROPE and settle there.
