Constructive Training for the Construction Industry : The project addresses the need for modernisation of traditional construction teaching methods by developing an innovative, multi-media educational and training system. The European dimension is an added value of the project. A flexible and expandable interactive framework capable of accommodating a diverse range of training areas has been developed. The product is available in CD format, which will be used as a teaching resource, together with an intranet base for student self learning. Web cams and e-mail provide the necessary support for distance learning. Based on a strong partnership and positive evaluation results, further project developments are planned. This project started in 2001 and lasted 36 months.
