The project strategy is concerning the following issues: - investment activities: renovation and construction of physical infrastructure - Recreation Park with 5.2 dka. Area; Tourist information Centre in the park, recreation of eco-trail and installing of kiosks /informational points/; - Supply of equipment for the needs of information infrastructure creation; Seminars and trainings for the representatives of the local population aiming to achieve imrpoving their qualification in tourism field; Attracting of local people during the execution of building activities. The project strategy is concerning working out and creation of conditions for new tourist products. Currently they could not be practically realized because of the non-existing suitable infrastructure. Achievements: The main project objective was to improve the existing tourism infrastructure and increase the existing capacity of the tourism product development in the cross-border region. The neighbouring border municipalities managed through joint effort to create a recreation park with video surveillance, to set two information kiosks and reconstruct an existing eco-trail 13.2 km on the territory of Bulgaria and build a 36 km eco-trail and a tourist information center in the Republic of Serbia. In terms of project visibility, a project website was created, brochures and posters were printed and distributed, and billboards were placed on strategic places. The workshops for developing new tourism products were held in both municipalities. In addition the monograph „Natural and Cultural Values of Special Nature Reserve “Jerma” was published.
