Computergestützte Interventionen bei Autismus

This two year project raised the pedagogical use of ICT in Don - Bosco - Schule especially in teaching of pupils with Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD). The strategies acquired can now also be used in mainstream settings to ensure that the teaching of pupils with ASD across all schools is effective and inclusive. The field of development takes place in a part with enormous challenges in cases of education. Ysgol Y Deri - School is a new school located in Penarth, Wales, UK. It served as a model to help us implement their understanding of the pedagogical requirements of teaching pupils with ASD. This exchange empowered teaching staff of both schools partners through the bilateral cooperation. The project provided a platform fo prefessional skills exchange, the acquition of sphisticated tecnical support, job shadowing and give the oppurtunity for teachers to develop their skills through a structured training program. In return for developing the ICT skills for teachers at Don Bosco School the member of the project provided Ysgol Y deri - School with feedback enable them to develop their skills and expertise further. A team of teachers ensured this project effective. The team was in charge of planning meetings and following up in their outcomes. They orgnised the implementation and disseminiation of the learned skills in our school. The team was also responsible for communication with welsh partner between the meetings. The applicant was aware of its special responsibility for making the partnership of European educational institutions succesful and empowering in their tasks.
