Computer Industry Competency Based Cross-border Business Building (CompComp)

The main objective of the programme is to build new business connections across the border based on competency research among the members of the Vojvodina ICT Cluster (VIC, Novi Sad) and the Software Innovation Pole Cluster (SIPC, Szeged). Both VIC and SIPC has their own methodology to measure the competencies and market domain presence of the member companies. These methodologies can be developed, merged and applied for VIC and SIPC the same time. A common database is going to be built and provided for the member companies. Based on the database possible cooperation targets will be identified and business partnership built up. Concering State aid the Applicants declare that the services provided in the frame of the project are available free of charge to anybody. Achievements: Three trainings were organized about the protection and management of the intellectual property rights in the field of the information technology. Two trainings were organized in Szeged (at University of Szeged and at the headquarters of MTESZ), while the third training took place in Kecskemét (at College of Kecskemét). The competency questionnaire was finalized and an online interface was provided to process the competency questionnaires. That was the basis for the competency database. 51 evaluation questionnaires were collected and an analysis about the existing professional and business competencies was made
