The project EPCOMDA contributes to the sustainable development by creating a ‘Complex molecular database for environment protection’, using the knowledge of specialists from various fields. The project involves the creation of a comprehensive database including both experimental and theoretical data, which are significant for regional environmental protection. Thus, professionals working on their own fields of activities can exceed the level of the general practice and can create an innovative product, which can become a ‘best model’ for the future developments. The project is useful for both partner's region, the contribution of the two partners is of complementary character, and the research work made by the partners has synergic effect. Target groups of the project are researchers, educators, students, environmental specialists, as well as the inhabitants of the area.
