The project " European competences for nurses " answers to the training needs , identified both at school and at local and regional level , to prepare quality healtcare professionals , with professional skills required by the labor market in health. Making a practical training in Europe will contribute to adapting the educational offer to the specific European labor market and even to facilitate employment of graduates . The aim of the project is the development of knowledge, professional , language and cultural skills of the 25 nurses students from Post-secondary School " EDUNET " Craiova, who will participate in a European training placement in a hospital in Vasto , Italy to become more able to integrate, as future nurses, in the national and European labor market. During the 5 weeks of training , the participants will shape and improve their specific skills according to the curriculum for generalist nurses of first and second school year. The profesional skills of participants will be assessed by tutors through practical tests and recorded and Europass Certificate . At the end of the training placement , the 25 participants will have the professional skills improved . They will enrich their knowledge , develop their practical skills in the field of nursing and shape the skills of using advanced medical technologies . The 25 participants will have better chances as future nurses, to participate in national and European labor market . Experience in a health units in Europe, of working in a multicultural team , practicing communication with patients from other cultures will facilitate their adaptation to specific work of nurses in a Europe increasingly multicultural . The acquisition of language skills, cultural communication capacity, social and cultural experience , familiarity with European values will make the 25 participants better prepared to work and easily integrate other cultural and participate more actively in society. The project will have an impact on local and regional level by increasing the quality of training for nurses and promoting new types of learning , helping the VET system to increase the capacity to adapt training to the needs of the qualification required by employers in the health and growth degree of insertion of the graduates on the national and European labor . The project contributes to the objectives of the European strategy of education and training (ET 2020) by promoting European cooperation education and training, European mobility in training and at work.
