Date du début: 2 janv. 2015, Date de fin: 1 juil. 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The world scenario opens more space for joint action of Portuguese speaking countries towards globally assert their cultural values. With its current 244 million speakers, mostly youngsters, and population growth rates that evolve according to the UN, in the order of 44% by 2050, in the near future will represent about 4% of world population. The civil society movements around the Lusophone and CPLP are many and growing. In Europe, besides the inhabitants of Portugal, the number of Portuguese speaking in other European countries is quite significant. The project presented here comes from the identification of a number of civil society groups involved in the promotion of the Portuguese language and Lusophone cultures in Europe. However, all these organizations are not yet " connected ", that’s why they realised that there's still the need to map and join a platform that promotes a more joint action , share best practices, improve networking ,develop cooperation, synergies and training / capacity building . On the other hand ,there is still the need to create a joint strategy (bringing together contributions from all these actors ) for an increasingly concerted , efficient and effective promotion of the Lusophony in Europe . This project proposes to join five Lusophone organizations in Europe : Conexão Lusófona ( Portugal ) ; Zarpante (France ); Berlinda ( Germany ) ; Bomdia ( Luxemburg ) and Inquietudo (Austria). In addition to the meetings based on methodologies of Non-Formal Education to share best practices and capacity building / training , these five organizations will jointly develop three main activities extremely relevant and complementary to each other : i ) mapping of all associations promoting the Portuguese language in Europe , creation of a web platform to promote and stimulate their interaction ; realization of a documentary with recommendations and inputs to a subsequent strategy of the major Portuguese-speaking actors in Europe and create a publication with the compilation of those contributions and recommendations . About the main results and impacts of the project, it will promote and increase the exchange of experiences and knowledge among associations working on the topic of lusophony in the European context ; increase of synergies and cooperation for future projects between partner organizations and also between associations that will be identify through the mapping moment. Also at the end of the project we will have a documentary , a publication and a digital platform to give voice to the associative movement and to the Lusophone actors in Europe . With these mechanisms , we aim to promote the discussion about current issues related to the Lusophone and Europe , such as: integration , citizenship , democratic participation , multilingualism ; dissemination and promotion of the language and Lusophone cultures in the European contex and also create better and more effective means of dissemination of these cultures and recognition of their role in the building of the European project .
