El intercambio consiste en una semana de proyecto, el cual se realizará en Tortosa del 1 al 7 de julio, en Cataluña, España. Se reunirán un total de 24 jóvenes procedentes de Croacia, Italia, Letonia y España para trabajar sobre el tema de "Community empowerment and youth". El principal objetivo es favorecer el intercambio generacional entre los jóvenes y las personas mayores del territorio para aprender los unos de los otros y mejorar la convivencia. Los jóvenes crearán actividades encaminadas a la valorización de las personas mayores utilizando las nuevas tecnologías como recurso para la creación. El grupo de personas mayores participará en la creación de actividades con juegos o deportes de su época, con historias y cuentos de cuando eran pequeños, o de artesanía. De este modo crearemos un exposición y demostración sobre los valores de la juventud y de las personas mayores, que se abrirá a la población. Por otro lado se incentivará al debate y al diálogo sobre los valores democráticos, derechos humanos y las libertades fundamentales de las generaciones presentes mediante el pase de películas históricas y actuales. El grupo de facilitadores, serán los que mediante talleres de cohesión de grupo, trabajo en grupos pequeños, y empoderamiento ayudará a que los jóvenes tomen su propia iniciativa y aumenten su autoestima para liderar y crear talleres y actividades conjuntas. Se invitará a la gente del pueblo a que visualicen los trabajos hechos por el grupo (fotografía, videos, resultados de los talleres de artesanía)en el centro cívico del pueblo y también a que participen en algunos talleres abiertos (juegos, películas, deportes tradicionales o artesanía).InglésThe exchange consists of a project of a week, which will be held in Tortosa from the 1rst to the 7th July, in Catalonia, Spain. They will meet a total of 24 young people from Croatia, Italy, Latvia and Spain to work on the theme of "Community empowerment and youth". The main objective is to promote exchanges between the young generation and older people to learn from each other and to improve relationships. Young people will create activities in oder to improve elderly efforts, using mainly new technology as a resource for creation. The older group will participate in creating games or showing sports activities of their time, with stories and tales from their childhood, or crafts. These activities will help to create a presentation and a demonstration of the values of youth and older people, which will be also opened to the public. On the other hand we will encourage the debate and the dialogue on democratic values, human rights and fundamental freedoms of present generations by passing historical and current films. The group of facilitators will help with group cohesion workshops, small team working to empower young people to take their own initiative and increase their self-esteem to lead and create workshops and joint activities. We will invite the people from the town to see the work done by the group (photography, videos, the results from the craft workshops) in the civic center of the town, and also to participate in some workshops (games, movies, traditional sports or crafts).
