Community 2.0 - Creative CSR instruments for Youth Projects

Community 2.0 - Creative CSR instruments for Youth Projects is a Key Action 1 – Mobility of Youth Workers developed within Erasmus + Programme involving 7 participant organizations from: Lithuania, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, Spain, Italy and Croatia and aimed at equipping youth workers with tools and instruments on developing CSR strategies that could support them in running the existent youth programmes and developing new ones. For 8 days (November 27 to December 4), 21 youth workers representing the 7 partners, were part of the training course (learning mobility) organized in Craiova. During the training, both the existent crisis of the traditional models of youth work and the new working tools that youth NGOs and youth workers can use to help young people to reach their full potential were tackled. Working in international teams and using the instruments provided (on fundraising, lobby, advocacy, essential corporate social responsibility strategies, social media and online tools) the 21 participants developed their own projects that are to serve as the basis of developing the CSR strategies of the partners. The project had 4 main objectives: training 21 youth workers on CSR methodologies to be used for youth projects; investing in developing new working methodologies to respond to the change of paradigm existent in youth work; to develop the working network, impacting the organizational development of the partner organizations; promoting the opportunities offered by Erasmus +, having a close look at the opportunities to partner up with actors from different fields. Regarding the objectives of Erasmus +, investing in the development of the transversal competencies and in promoting the priorities of the European Youth Strategy (especially the ones regarding the need for trans-sectorial cooperation in the field of youth) are being integrated to the TC, having as well integrated the 7 transversal themes regarding the state of play of youth work in Europe at the European Youth Work Convention, 2015.
