Our school has been involved in a COMENIUS partnership project for the past 2 years and has experience in communicating with European schools. For this new project our principal goals are : improving our pupils' and teachers' level of English as well as becoming more integrated European citizens. As part of this project we'll activate two principle activities in our school : delivering certain lessons in English rather than French; enabling our pupils to live authentic situations . This project involves everyone in our school including two teachers specifically dedicated to foreign visits. We plan to edit a logbook (Dropbox) where every teacher in the school can deposit documents in connection with the project in order to pool all our various experiences. This project should lead us (pupils and teachers) towards cultural and human openness in regard to Europe as well as giving us a better command of the English language. In the the long term we hope this project, for pupils as well as teachers, maintains our involvement and motivation for communicating in a foreign language and experiencing foreign cultures without bias or apprehension. These cross-cultural and language skills are essential for us to ensure that each one of us incorporates our European identity.
