Concordia Rhone-Alpes proposes different kind of voluntary service, with international volunteer workcamps as main activity - in order to promote intercultural exchanges and active citizenship. Both volunteers - Italian and Russian girls - will get invested from february 2015, respectively for a twelve and six-month service in Lyon. Their missions will consist in communicating about these different activities, and to assist in the implementation of the workcamp season. For this, they will meet youngsters to present the activities of the association and talk about their own experience; support the logistics in the preparation of workcamp, visit the location to help camp leaders; develop, in the frame of a personal project, new tools related to workcamps, or to communicate differently on the values of Concordia Rhône-Alpes. We encourage the active participation of the volunteers, to allow them to develop new skills, and tools for personal and social flourishing. For all the stakeholders, we hope that this project will be a great intercultural experience, and an opportunity to tackle the European Identity, making it more real. We hope that this project will allow all of us to develop a mutual understanding between cultures and we hope that it will participate to enhance transnational links and mobility of persons.
